Psst. We’ve got news! ICYMI, Glory Skincare is one of eight brands selected to participate in major beauty retailer Sephora’s Incubator program. What does this mean for us, exactly? Well, in short, we’re making moves, and we’re dishing the details.
For the first time ever, all eight of the beauty brands selected for Sephora’s Accelerate initiative are BIPOC-owned (which, though it should’ve happened sooner, is a pretty big deal!). Through this program, Glory Skincare and other founders of color will partake in a Sephora-led curriculum that not only provides mentorship from industry big timers, but also exposure to investment firms and venture capitalists alike.
At Glory, this opportunity makes us really freakin’ excited. Why? We’ll receive the mentorship and resources from which women of color are often excluded. And TBH, we also love to see a major company, like Sephora, provide long-term support to Black-owned businesses like ours—not just posting about issues that impact us on Instagram when it’s convenient or popular.
All that said, there’s actually more. Once Glory completes the program, we’ll be available in all Sephora stores! Soon, you’ll be able to stock up on all our Glory Skincare goods, not just from your laptop, but also while you browse the world’s favorite makeup and skincare retailer. Yep, it’s huge, you guys.
And while all of this is beyond great, if you want to support us in the meantime, we’d really appreciate it. Keep shopping our online offerings, subscribing to our boxes, and snapping and posting pics with our Glory Skincare merch. Just wait. You’ll see us everywhere soon, and you’ll get to say you’ve been with us since #dayone (you’re welcome!).
